I've decided to paint the car as a replica of the 1976-1978 Tr7 Rally car. The Victory Edition was built as a tribute to their rally wins, and as it will now be once again 'leading the pack' I figure it'll be cute.
Let's not forget that the decals and stripes can hide some of my expected ripples..

The beginning...
The very next day after I finally pulled my TR7v8 out of my garage after its 2 year conversion, I receive a call to come get another TR7. Thinking it's just a parts car, I pick it up and yeah - it IS just a parts car, but it's actually a pretty rare beast - about 3500 Victory Edition TR7's were built. I really, REALLY don't want another TR7 and I definately don't want one with the same 4 cylinder as my orange one pre-conversion, so I start looking. For some reason, I decide that the best idea is a TR7-EV. With gas as it is, it should be a 3-year payback.
The poor car has been stationary for the last 20 years, but despite that it's actually in fairly good condition. Step 1 is going to be an engine removal and a cleanup to see what I have to work with.
